I interesting point how many of you used up last week end like I have, having a discussion with your young kids in connection with how much time they use doing the stuff that they want to do (playing Minecraft) verses what you would like them to be doing (reading, playing with all those untouched toys in the cupboard, as acting without conscious thought undertaking a science experiment without your help, cooking in oven…), right right who am I getting amusement of, I would be happy with good looking much anything which does not have to do with netting time.

So I can get through knowledge of why it might seem to be suggesting children’s books about Minecraft, certainly this will support them to play more Minecraft, right? Well, rather surprisingly, no. Not unless you can suddenly become owner of in addition hours in the day (in which example where do I sign up?!) then I Have discovered that far from increasing time used up on Minecraft, getting your Minecraft supporter, a book about Minecraft, seems to actually have no other effect than to increase the time they use up reading. With great interest. As in, I do not even have to protest all the time them to read. they, gulp, seem to actually need to read. Who was conscious of?

Embarrassingly, it is the part of suggestion I most often give to parents. Let the kids discover something they are interested in (in my example mostly football and unicorns) and search books with said kid (in a bookstore or in a library) until something comes that intrigues them. So let’s all of us put down our book for a short time and take in one’s arms (to oneself) a trade mark which gets through knowledge of that

•  there’s no better way for a kid to learn about a thing talked of than through a book
•  that playing activity and books can happily exist together. It is a win. win.
