I’m a huge outdoors-man. I love being outside during all seasons of the year no matter how hot or cold. In the summer I like hiking, camping, and swimming. I don’t need the house to get that cold or that hot. It still feels nice and it doesn’t matter when I come in from outside by the end of the day. In the winter I really just need to ensure my pipes don’t freeze. In the summer I like to keep the humidity out of the house. Keeping your thermostat at the right temperature is critical. It can mean huge savings at the end of the year. Plus your HVAC is no longer working as hard so you are not putting as much wear and tear on your system. Your HVAC will actually last longer because you aren’t running it so hard. I like to keep my thermostat at better temperatures and i really don’t end up spending as much money at the end of the year.
